a very special show this week, musically goin back to the early 80's in my collection with loads of classics which i was spinning and danced my .... off to back then - reason for this is the legends series pt.3 with the main man out of liverpool (not manchester!), Mr. Greg Wilson. over half an hour in conversation, which turned out to be a true dj history lesson, very well told on the phone plus a 60 minute mix. thanks a lot , greg !!! btw. book your flights to zadar now for the garden festival 2007 - 7th july its a full on compost night with eddy ramich, troobs and myself on the decks and on the 8th greg will be part of the unabombers night. with revox and all that!
as the background to the conversation i chose the music mentioned above...like an old mixtape by MR...give me a shout if you like to hear the mix without words sometime in the future. the other side of the soulpatrol roots.
back to jazz next week with the second installment of first class mixes by signore Nicola Conte...plus new bits & pieces out of my box. relax in the sunshine.
