SOULSEARCHING
the compost radioshow #479
presented by michael ruetten
produced 3.12.06 @ soulsearching studios frankfurt

words:

finally, its here: 9th anniversary show! 9 years official soulsearching radio - - - and what a surprise: so instead of giving you a special oldschool newschool mix as planned, a friend of mine, Samy BenRedjeb from Analog Africa (check his label, highly recommended for all of you who are searching for the true african gems!) came for a visit into the studio, brought a friend along and without knowing anything or being prepared i felt very honoured to have one of the musicians, composer, main man of African music on the microphone, the king of Ethio Jazz, Mr. Mulatu Astatke! words and music with him in the first part, a jazzdance mix selection as requested by many of you in the second part. And big thanks again to Samy and Mr. Astatke - hope to see you soon here playin live with your 11-piece band!
Keep it locked to soulsearching!

next show with Matthias Vogt [re:jazz] words and music plus the return of Sao Paolos Drumagick to soulsearching.

enjoy the music,
michael
