Compose Records: Discompose

This compilation gathers some of the best tracks ever released on the German house label Compose Records. It gives you an impression of the wide range of productions from artists like DJ Linus, Pufo, Marcel Krieg & Jerome Isma-Ae aka Future Funk, Beanfield disco-project Moon Machine and others. "Discompose" is mixed by DJ Linus, one of the most respected and best known house-DJs in Germany. He was the first artist signed to Compose in 1994. His and the label’s international reputation and popularity began, when DJs like Tony Humphries, Gusto, Mousse T, Boris Dlugosch, Todd Terry, Kid Bachelor, Jazzy M, Faze Action or David Morales were spinning and listing his tracks. It was Tony Humphries who featured Compose, DJ Linus and Pufo tracks in his regular Back-2-Back-Hump-Show on WQAT-HOT 97" N.Y.C. Together with Boris Dlugosch and Mousse T, DJ Linus is one of the only German House-DJ who ever dj-ed at the Ministry Of Sounds and Cream.

Another artists on Compose is Pufo, an innovative, progressive house DJ and producer who has his own studio where he not only produces his wonderfully mellow releases but also works on electronic ambient tracks like the ones he released on Alex Azary’s ElectroLux label or the tracks he composed for Bavarian tv-station BR for their popular "Space-Night", which is a daily (nightly) spaceview NASA/Eurospace-voyage throughout our galaxy. And then there are Future Funk aka Jerome Isma-ae and Marcel Krieg a very popular hi-tech-digital house act who have not only released on Compose but also on Hey Babe Rec., Flavour Records, Delirium USA, Strictly Rhythm and an album on Sony. Both Future Funkers also had some solo releases on Compose like Marcel’s Cozy Cornerz or Jerome’s Mellow Yellow Tracks. Some other successful Compose releases come from artists like Kristo (he is designer for BMW and won an award for his design for a BMW-motorbike), Cockroach and Moon Machine (Moon Machine are the Beanfield’s Michael Reinboth and Jan Krause).
